WHAT IS VIRECHANA

Virechana therapy is designed to eradicate the toxins from the body by purifying blood. It aims to clean the Pitta from body. Virechana therapy is usually applied after three days after Vamana treatment, but duration is decided considering health status of patient by the expert doctors at SANKALP HOSPTAL. So it may vary from case to case.

We know that toxins are accumulated in the liver and gall bladder in our body. Virechana therapy cleansed the gastro-intestinal tract.

HOW IT IS DONE

In the therapy of virachana, the vitiated doshas are eliminated through the rectum. The therapy is given under observation of experienced doctors only. In the treatment patient is subjected to Oleation first, then Fomentation, that is followed by Emisis & Samsarjana Karma (post operative). Patient is allowed to take the warm and light diet day before starting Virechana karma. Specialist doctor decide the dose and process considering age of the person and body and mind constitution of the patient.
